Anusandhan National Research Foundation gives a further boost to Make in India initiative of the government of India.

The Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), established under the Anusandhan National Research Foundation Act, 2023, is a significant initiative by the Government of India aimed at transforming the country's research and development (R&D) landscape. It replaces the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) and is designed to provide strategic direction, coordination, and funding across various scientific and technological domains.
ANRF aims to offer high-level strategic guidance for research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in diverse fields, including natural sciences, engineering, technology, environmental and earth sciences, health, agriculture, and the scientific and technological interfaces of humanities and social sciences.
